I found myself struggling on the last few speed paintings so I decided to try and change things up a bit.  In this painting I started with a black and white value drawing before adding the color. I also played around with texture and trying to make it look less digital.  1-hour

 Its been a while since I last posted.  Christmas has come and gone and to kick off the new year I am doing one speed painting a day with Henry Chau.  Here is the first of my efforts.
